The Firnekas Family strives to encourage and support cowboys and cowgirls all over the world. We currently have 30 head of bulls housed at the family ranch in Gillette, WY that will fit any skill level of any cowboy or cowgirl. Shanna has created Underground Bull Rider Production that hosts multiple schools and bull riding events throughout the year. Throughout her organization riders are able to become members and find the perfect rodeo family. Cjay and Gavin have created 5F Bucking Bulls that host practice pens and jackpots at the family ranch along with hauling bulls to rodeos around the area. Jason and Belle help with ranch work and behind the scene of events.

At Underground, we are committed to producing high-quality youth bull riding events and schools that help riders develop the skills they need to succeed in the sport. Our team brings years of experience in bull riding, coaching, stock selection, and event production to ensure every event is safe, competitive and growth-focused.
Shanna Firnekas - Founder & Event Producer
I am a proud Bull Rider Mom and have been deeply involved in the sport for over 12 years. My journey as an event producer began in 2012 after the unexpected passing of my oldest son's best friend. What started as a fundraising event quickly turned into a passion for organizing and supporting youth bull riding.
For four years, I produced youth bull riding qualifiers for Leal's Junior Championship Bull Riding before founding Underground. Seeing the immense need for bull ridings schools in our area, I knew something had to be done. In 2022, Underground officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing opportunities for the next generation of riders.
My dream is to build the Elite Youth Bull Riding Schools while also producing some of the top events in the nation. Through Underground, I am committed to creating a safe, high-quality environment for young athletes to learn, grown, and chase their dreams in the sport of bull riding.
