Hi, I’m Earl, the veteran of the pen and proud “old man” of the herd. I’ve been with my humans since I was just 4 years old, when a young rider named Gavin first came to practice where I lived. We hit it off right away, and when it was time for me and my five younger brothers to move, Gavin’s family was the first call.
Now living in Gillette, WY with my brothers, I enjoy the simple things in life — lazy days, munching on fresh green grass, and getting back scratches whenever I can. My favorite treats? Cookies and cake — yum!
I specialize in teaching young riders how to stay on a bull, and I’m extra careful when they’re up there. I don’t like stepping on kids — they’re squishy and not so comfortable underfoot — so if I sense someone’s about to fall, I’ll often stop early to keep them safe.
