Tibia’s name comes from an unforgettable moment early in his career. When he was about 3 years old, he accidentally stepped on Gavin’s tibia during practice, breaking it — not on purpose, just one of those things that happen when bulls bring their full power.
Tibia doesn’t like being petted much and prefers to keep to himself, often standing quietly in the pen. But when the gate opens, he definitely brings the heat. He has bucked off more riders than he’s carried in his years, making him a formidable opponent for anyone brave enough to climb aboard.
He’s been a consistent presence at Las Vegas for the last 4 years, competing in the Senior Mini (12-13) or Junior Bulls (14-15) divisions depending on the event.
